At the time, our company was still in its infancy. We had just barely released out platform for a round of beta testing when we landed our first official client, One More Multiverse. Though we had previously piloted our concept with LinkedIn and YouTube, One More Multiverse was the first client to really see what our platform could do. The company was hosting a dinner during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and tasked us with finding the perfect venue, caterer, and rental place to accommodate their guests. As a startup ourselves, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a prestigious client and make their event a success.

In-Person Event Challenge: Being Pressed for Time

This opportunity fell into our laps with short notice. The dinner required a venue that could accommodate a large group of guests, a caterer that could provide delicious food for everyone, and a rental place to provide chairs and tables. The event was only two weeks away, leaving us with a tight timeline to secure everything. Our team had to work fast to find the right vendors that fit the client's needs and budget.

Our Commitment and Dedication

We were finally able to put our AI-powered vendor recommendation engine to the test. We used our platform to filter through vendors based on the client’s preferences and finally found Ampersand to be the perfect venue fit. It was a chic and modern space that could accommodate the large group of guests. For the catering we chose Mazra, a local caterer known for their delicious and inventive dishes. Their menu was customizable, allowing us to work with the client to create a unique dining experience. Finally, we secured chairs and tables from Abbey Party Rentals, ensuring all guests had a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the evening. Our team was also on-site to manage and coordinate the set-up and clean-up of the event. We worked closely with each vendor to ensure a seamless execution of the event.

One More Multiverse's GDC Dinner was a success, thanks to the seamless execution and management of the event by AfterWork's team.
